AxoMem is committed to making our website accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to provide an inclusive experience for all visitors, regardless of how they access the web.

Our standard

We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning and neurological disabilities.

Current status

This website is currently self-assessed against WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have not yet engaged a third party to perform a formal accessibility audit. The following accessibility features have been implemented:

  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • Skip-to-main-content link at the top of every page
  • Semantic landmark roles for header, navigation, main content and footer regions
  • Descriptive labels on all form fields
  • Alternative text on informative images
  • Accessible names on icon-only links and buttons
  • Declared page language
  • Responsive layouts that work at common assistive-technology zoom levels

Ongoing work

While we work to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, we recognise that some areas of this site may not yet fully conform. We continue to identify and address issues as part of our regular development cycle, and we welcome reports of any barriers you encounter (see Reporting a problem below).

Some embedded third-party content on this site (such as YouTube video recordings or Google reCAPTCHA on our contact form) inherits the accessibility behaviour of the third party that hosts it; we link to such content where it adds value but do not control its accessibility.
